The controllers combined with the SPR A and SPR C slides bear the CE Mark, but they do not conform to the EC Directives if combined with a motorized linear slides.

2 Installation 2 Installation 2.1 Changing the motor cable’s routing direction (SPR6, SPR8 only) The motor cable can be routed in two directions on the SPR6 (left and right), and in four directions on the SPR8 (top, bottom, left and right). Change the motor cable’s routing direction before installing/connecting the motorized Note linear slides.

3 Connection 3 Connection Connect one end of the motor cable (sold separately) to the motor cable of the motorized linear slides, and connect the other end to the motor connectors on the controller. For the wiring of sensor cables, refer to 3.6 “Wiring the sensor I/O and user I/O” in the Linear Motion Controller OPERATING MANUAL.
4 Inspection 4 Inspection This chapter explains the maintenance items that must be performed to ensure safe, efficient operation of the motorized linear slides. Should you encounter any abnormality, immediately stop using the product and contact your nearest Customer Service Center. 4.1 Inspection items and timing Perform the inspections specified in the table below at the start of slides operation and after finishing the operation.
