Overview of instrument display

Speedometer
The segments on the speedometer indicate
the status of the following systems: cruise
control / Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC

Outside temperature
3 Instrument display (example: standard display
for trip): service / assistance / trip / naviga-
tion / radio / media / telephone / designs

Time
5 Area for additional values (example: tachome-
ter): tachometer / navigation / ECO display /
consumption / G-meter / date
The fuel supply will be interrupted to protect
the engine when the red mark on the tachom-
eter (overrevving range) is reached.
6 Coolant temperature display
During normal operating conditions, coolant
temperature display is permitted to rise to the
red mark.
