Instrument and control functions
When the main switch is turned on, all
of the display segments of the fuel me-
ter will appear for a few seconds, and
then the fuel meter shows the actual
fuel level.
TIP
 Do not use up all of the fuel in the
fuel tank.
 The fuel meter is equipped with a
self-diagnosis function. If a prob-
lem is detected in the fuel meter
electrical circuit, all the display
6
segments will flash repeatedly. If
this occurs, have a Yamaha dealer
check the vehicle.
NOTICE
When the fuel indicator has dropped
to only one block, refuel as soon as
possible, as the movement of fuel
when going up or downhill or when
turning may lead to the engine not
getting any fuel, resulting in engine
stop.
