Multiple handset use

Join a call in progress

When a handset is already on a call and you would like to join the
PHONE/
call, press
To end the call using a handset, press
handset in the telephone base or charger. The call does not end
until all handsets hang up.

Intercom

Use the intercom feature for conversations between two handsets, or
a handset and a cordless headset (sold separately). You can purchase
expansion handsets (AT&T model BL102-0S) and cordless headsets
for this telephone base to expand your telephone system (up to five
handsets, or three handsets and two cordless headsets).
Using a handset to initiate intercom calls:
1. Press MENU/
main menu. Press qCID or pDIR to scroll to Intercom, then
press
MENU
2. If you have two system handsets, the handset shows Calling HS
X (X represents the handset number). The destination device
rings and shows HS X is calling.
-OR-
If you have more than two system handsets, press
to select a device, or use the dialing keys to enter a device
pDIR
number (1-5). The handset shows Calling HS X. The destination
handset rings and shows HS X is calling.
To answer an intercom call:
Press PHONE/

TONE , or # ) on the called handset. Both handsets now show
Intercom.
To end an intercom call:
Press
OFF
f
telephone base or charger.
FLASH
on the handset in idle mode to enter the
SELECT
/SELECT.
