    Initial basic settings After you install your telephone or power returns following a power outage, the handset and telephone base will prompt you to set the date and time. To skip setting the date and time, press OFF/CANCEL on the handset or press CANCEL on the telephone base.

    Smart call blocker If you have subscribed to caller ID service, then you can use the Smart call blocker feature to screen incoming calls. Note: The screening feature of Smart call blocker is applicable to incoming home calls only. All incoming cell calls will get through and ring.
