4.4.4.8 Virtual Link
This is OSPF virtual link configuration table. The virtual link is established between 2 ABRs to overcome that all the areas have

default value is 40 (seconds).
The time interval (in seconds) between link-state advertisement(LSA) retransmissions for
adjacencies. The allowed range is 1 to 65535 and the default value is 5 (seconds).

Simple Password: It's using a plain text authentication. A password must be configured, but the
password can be read by sniffer the packets.
Message Digest: It's message-digest algorithm 5 (MD5) authentication. Keying material must also
be configured. This is the most secure method.
Null Authentication: No authentication.
Area Configuration: Refer to Area authentication setting.
It is used to change the simple password (fill with plain text). The allowed input length is 1 to 8.
