3. Check:
• Toe-alignment
Out of specification → Repeat step (1).
Toe-alignment (with tires touch-
ing the ground)
-6 mm (-0.24 in) or more
TIP
Before measuring the toe-alignment, make sure
that the tire pressure is correct.

a. Place the vehicle on the centerstand.
b. Face the handlebar straight ahead.
c. Mark the tread center at the most forward
point on each front tire.
d. Measure the width "A" between the marks.
e. Rotate the front tires 180° until the marks are
exactly opposite one another.
f. Measure the width "B" between the marks.
g. Calculate the toe-alignment using the formula
given below.
Toe-alignment: "A" – "B"
