The side door will not close.
• Have foreign objects become trapped?
> Remove the foreign objects.
• When closing, do not set the [LOCK] switch to the locked side. Doing so may cause damage or
leaks.
> Release the lock.
Cannot move some parts of the camera, such as the buttons, dial, and side door.
• When using the camera in cold places such as ski resorts or places at high altitude, do not
leave the camera with snow or water droplets sticking to it. Some parts of the camera may
become hard to move with snow or water droplets freezing in narrow spaces, such as the gaps
of the buttons, dial, and side door. This is not a malfunction. When the camera returns to
normal temperature it will function as normal.
• When using the camera in places with large amounts of sand or dust, some parts of the camera
may become hard to move with foreign objects getting in narrow spaces, such as the gaps of
the dioptre adjustment dial, shutter button, and camera [ON/OFF] button. Wipe off with a dry,
lint-free cloth or rinse with fresh water.
The clock is reset.
• If you do not use the camera for a long time, the clock may be reset.
> [Please set the clock] message will be displayed; please reset the clock.
