General cautions in operation
QAY220 All Terrain Crane Operation Manual
Illustrations
If a load must be lifted with two or more
cranes, carry out the lifting operation
with straight wire ropes, synchronous
movements of cranes and the load on
each crane must not exceed its rated
load capacity. Refer to section 17.3 in
GB6067.1-2010 for details. If the said
requirements could not be met, the load
applied to each crane should be reduced
to to 75% or less of its rated load
capacity.
The boom deflects under loads and
the working radius increases. When
calculating the total rated load, take this into
consideration.
Operate the crane slowly while you
are familiarizing yourself with its
operation.
Do not look to the side when operating
the crane.
Only respond to the signal sent by
designated signalmen. Operators must
respond to emergency stop signal
whenever and whoever sent.
Check safety conditions around the crane
during operation.
Never leave the crane with a load suspended
unattended.
