respective line key flashes when the call is
placed on hold.
2. Press the flashing line key to release
the call from hold. The respective line key
illuminates when in use. When both lines are
on hold, lift the corded handset releases the
call on line 1.
Conference call
This telephone allows three-way conversations.
To initiate a conference call
1. Place a call to the first party.
2. Press HOLD to place the first party on hold.
3. Place a second call on the other line.
4. Once the second party is on the line, press
CONF to start a three-way conference.
To initiate a conference call while both
calls are on hold
Press CONF to start a three-way conference.
To end a conference call
• Press a line key to maintain the connection
with that line and drop the other line.
• Press CONF or place the corded handset
back in the telephone base to end.
• When there is more than one telephone on
the conference call, the call ends when all
telephones hang up.
Data port
The data port routes to line 2.

Receive a call
When there is a line 1 incoming call, the
telephone rings. The MESSAGE WAITING LED
flashes and LINE 1 key flashes in red.
When there is a line 2 incoming call, the
telephone rings. LINE 2 key flashes in red.
Answer a call
Lift the corded handset if the ringing line key
is depressed, or press the ringing line key if no
line keys are depressed. The respective line
key illuminates in orange when in use.
Place a call
Lift the corded handset if the desired line key is
depressed, or press LINE 1 or LINE 2 if no line
keys are depressed. Listen for a dial tone and
then dial the desired number, or press a Speed
Dial key to dial a programmed number. The
respective line key illuminates in orange when
in use.
End a call
Place the corded handset in the telephone
base.
Share a call
During a call, parallel telephones (telephones
on the same line) can join the call. If the parallel
telephone is a 2-line model, this telephone can
only share call on one of the lines.
Join a call
During a call, lift the corded handset to join.
