ASCADE CALCULATIONS
EFW water heaters and tanks can be cascaded in a number of possible combinations according to the instruc-
tions below. Pipe sizes should be selected conforming to the tables A, B and C below. These are minimum (cop-
per or stainless steel) pipe sizes; selecting smaller pipes will result in a higher water resistance of the system, in
higher temperature differences between flow and return of the boiler, and in a higher risk of calcification of the
system.
