To connect an FXS interface:
1.
Connect one end of an RJ-11 cable to an FXS port, located on the rear panel and labeled FXS.
2.
Connect the other end of the cable to the required telephone interface (e.g., fax machine,
dial-up modem, or analog POTS telephone).

Connecting Serial Interface to PC
The device provides an RS-232 serial interface port on its rear panel. The RS-232 interface port is used
to access the device's command line interface (CLI). An RJ-45 to DB-9 serial cable adapter needs to be
ordered for serial cabling:
FXS interface is a customer-ordered item which is supported only on specific
hardware configurations. For more information, contact your AudioCodes sales
representative.
The FXS interfaces support loop-start signaling (indoor only).
