Combustion head adjustment

The combustion head is adjusted in the factory.
Make sure these adjustments comply with the values indicated in
Tab. F on page 15.
Using the supplied gauge 1)(Fig. 17)(P/N 20147306) check the
dimension "D".
Adjustments can be made by rotating the adjustment knob
A)(Fig. 17).
Where the recommended head setting is for example 11.5 mm
using the universal gauge set the combustion head to 11 mm and
then open the head setting by a further half rotation of the head
adjuster seen in Fig. 17.
One complete rotation of the head adjuster knob = 1mm adjust-
ment of the head.

An adjustment for the head setting is included to allow a sim-
ilar pressure drop across the burner head at all outputs.
Closing the head (reducing the gap) can decrease the NOx
value but closing it too far may affect the ignition quality.
Opening up the head (increasing the gap) will only be neces-
sary if the installation has a flue system with a very high re-
sistance and the ignition quality needs to be improved.
