  • Page 3 Prior to first use of the Alpine swag, it is important to remove the mattress from its compression sleeve and allow it to expand. Seasoning the swag is not essential but is recommended. For full instructions on seasoning your DARCHE swag, see How to Season Your Swag (page 7).
  • Page 4 I N S T R U C T I O N M A N U A L Step 3 Before attempting to insert the aluminium pole into the second pin, ensure the pole sleeve is centred on the pole. Place you palm under the pole end, and push upward until there is a gap between the pole end and the second pin. Insert the second pin.
  • Page 5 Step 5 Insert a guy rope through the eyelets at the ends of the swag, loop the guy rope around the steel pegs and secure to the ground. Tension the guy rope. Peg out the corners if necessary. Your Alpine swag set up is now complete. D A R C H E .
