Funzione
Il miscelatore termostatico Caleffi viene utilizzato in applicazioni sottolavello nei casi in
cui l'utente deve essere protetto dal pericolo di scottature causate dall'acqua calda. Il
miscelatore Caleffi, codice 521201, fornisce acqua a temperatura di sicurezza, utilizzabile
in situazioni in cui il controllo della temperatura dell'acqua scaricata da un terminale è della
massima importanza, ad esempio in ospedali, scuole, case di cura, ecc. La valvola è stata
progettata per interrompere il flusso di acqua dall'uscita miscelata in caso di interruzione
dell'alimentazione dell'acqua calda o fredda. È compatto, per una facile installazione, e
comprende un'uscita dell'acqua fredda verso l'apparecchio, eliminando così la necessità
di tubazioni aggiuntive e un raccordo a T del tipo in uso per i normali miscelatori a tre vie. È
dotato di valvole di ritegno e filtri integrati sugli ingressi acqua calda e fredda.
Function
The Caleffi thermostatic mixing valve is used in under sink and under counter applications
where the user must be protected from the danger of scalding caused by hot water. The
Caleffi mixing valve, code 521201, provides water at a safe and usable temperature in
situations where the control of the temperature of the water discharging from a terminal
fitting is of the utmost importance, i.e. within hospitals, schools, nursing homes, etc. The
valve is designed to prevent the flow of water discharging from the mixed water outlet in
the event of the failure of hot or cold supply. It is compact for easy installation and includes
a cold water outlet to the fixture eliminating the need for additional piping and a tee for
standard three-port mixing valves. It has integral check valves on the hot and cold inlets.
Fonction
Ce mitigeur thermostatique Caleffi s'utilise sous un lavabo dans les situations où
l'utilisateur doit être protégé contre le risque de brûlures causées par l'eau chaude. Le
mitigeur Caleffi, code 521201, assure la fourniture d'eau à une température de sécurité,
pour toutes les situations où le contrôle de la température de l'eau sortant d'un terminal
s'avère particulièrement important, par exemple dans des hôpitaux, des écoles, des
cliniques privées, etc. Ce mitigeur a été conçu pour interrompre le flux d'eau mitigée en
cas d'interruption de l'alimentation en eau chaude ou en eau froide. Il est compact, ce
qui facilite son installation, et comprend une sortie eau froide vers le lavabo, éliminant
la présence nécessaire de conduits supplémentaires, et d'un raccord en T nécessaire
pour les mitigeurs trois voies traditionnels. Il est équipé de clapets anti-retour et de filtres
incorporés sur les entrées eau chaude et eau froide.

door heet water. Het mengventiel van Caleffi met de code 521201 levert water met een
veilige temperatuur en kan worden gebruikt in situaties waarin de temperatuur van het
water dat uit een eindunit stroomt van het grootste belang is, bijvoorbeeld in ziekenhuizen,
scholen, verzorgingsinstellingen, enz. Het ventiel is ontworpen om de waterstroom
uit de mengwateruitlaat te onderbreken in geval van een onderbreking in de warm- of
koudwatertoevoer. De compacte vorm zorgt voor een gemakkelijke montage en bestaat
uit een koudwateruitlaat naar het toestel, waardoor geen extra leidingen nodig zijn, en een
T-stuk dat voor normale drieweg mengventielen wordt gebruikt. Het ventiel is uitgerust met
keerkleppen en geïntegreerde filters op de warm- en koudwaterinlaten.

Un elemento termostatico è completamente immerso nell’acqua miscelata. Montare la valvola 521201 a parete sotto il lavello con staffa di montaggio in plastica nera fornita con la valvola ma non collegata. Utilizzare la vite di montaggio per fissare la staffa di montaggio alla valvola in modo da rispettare l'orientamento sopra descritto. - Page 8 Le mitigeur thermostatique Caleffi 521201 est doté de clapets anti-retour aux entrées eau chaude et eau froide. • Adjust mixing valve to desired faucet discharge temperature, with provided 1/4” hex key. • Perform the thermal shut-off test. Isolate the cold water supply to the Caleffi valve and monitor the mixed water temperature.
