Safety
Warning! Risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.
The incomplete combustion of fuel such as charcoal can produce
highly poisonous carbon monoxide gas which is both odourless
and tasteless. Never use the product indoors or in areas with poor
ventilation.
Never use the product in a confined space or in any form of dwelling,
such as a house, tent, caravan, motor home, boat etc.
Warning! Danger to life – risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.
• The product is intended for outdoor use only, with wood (EN 1860-3)
as the fuel. Do not use it to burn rubbish or waste.
• Never move the product once it has been lit. It can cause burns or
start a fire! Wait until the product has cooled down.
• Never use petrol, meths or other highly flammable substances to
light a fire in the product.
• Never use water to put out the fire. Sand is recommended.
• Never overfill the product with wood before lighting. Fill it to a
maximum of two thirds of fuel compartment volume. Use small logs.
• Do not use the product if it is very windy.
• The product can become discoloured at high temperatures,
which is a natural process and does not affect the function of
the product.
• Check that the product is clean and undamaged before using it again.
• This product should be protected against scratches and scrapes,
which can damage the finish and cause corrosion.
• Protect the product from rain, snow, etc.
• Only use firelighters that conform to EN 1860-3.
Before using the product
Put the product on a level fireproof surface with plenty of space around
the sides. Make sure that no flammable objects are nearby (within 5 meters),
for example dry branches or other things hanging over the product.
Warning!
Do not use alcohol or gasoline to ignite or reignite!
Attention carbon monoxide!
Danger of carbon monoxide poisoning - NEVER
light up, glow or cool down in closed rooms.
Using the product
• Never leave the product unattended when it is lit. Make sure that
children and pets are kept at a safe distance from the product.
• Never touch the hot parts of the product unless you are wearing
protective gloves.
• Drops of grease or fat from food can cause flames. Keep a bucket
of sand nearby to extinguish the flames if necessary.
• Never try to relight the fire using denatured alcohol or petrol.
• Use only approved grill lighters.
After using the product
• Caution: Let the product cool completely before emptying the ashes
into a metal container with a tight-fitting lid. Never put the ashes
directly into the waste bin. There may still be some embers left that
you can't see.
• Do not leave the product unattended until it has completely cooled down.
• The fire must be fully extinguished and the product must be completely
cold before you store it away.
Assembly
Read the assembly instructions before you begin.
This product is supplied in parts and needs assembling.
• Unpack all the parts from the box and arrange them on the empty
packaging to protect the product from scratches during assembly.
• Attach the legs to fuel compartment using the screws provided (8)
by following the illustration (A). Carefully tighten the screws using
an Allen key (B).
• Put the spark screen onto the fuel compartment and then the grids
onto the spark screen (C).
• Attach the handle to the lid using the screw provided (7) by following
the illustration (D).
• Put the lid on the fire pit (E).
• Before using the product, check that all the screws are tight.
Cleaning and care
Clean with a soft brush or damp cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents.
Never use solvents or corrosive chemicals.
Responsible disposal
The product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
If you are unsure of what to do, contact your local council.
