15) Defining the Step Sequence
Now align the gears so that the teeth you marked
face outward toward the corresponding brass
bushings (1).
Now, reinstall the 35 mm long shafts.
Make sure that none of the gears
touch a red motor cable.
Place the 2 gears for the motors on their teeth
and in such a way that their D-shaped openings are
aligned as mirror-symmetrically as
possible to each other. If necessary,
turn one of the gears around.
Now, attach the gears to the motors, being careful
to keep the marked gears correctly aligned or
slightly deviating in the same direction.
Lastly, check if the
magnets are positioned
directly under the
gears.

2 reed switches
Bend the leads of the reed
switches by 90° and trim
them to a length of 8 mm
using a wire cutter.
Lastly, insert the
switches into the
connectors next
to the motors.
