Install a noise-suppression ferrite (included in your shipping kit) onto the external
USB cable when using a USB mouse or keyboard to ensure that your device meets all EMC
standards applicable to your country. Install the ferrite across the body of the USB cable,
approximately 50–75 mm (2–3 in.) from the end of the cable. Refer to Figure 3-7 for an
illustration of this procedure.
