Using the BRBK-MF1 HD Optical Multiplex Card and the HFBK-TS1 HDV
Interface Board to Input Audio and Video Signals Simultaneouly to the HDV
Video Equipment
This system allows you:
• To operate the camera remotely from a distance up to 1,000m (3,281 feet)
• To perform pan/tilt and zoom operations using the joystick
• To transmit the video signal and control signal of the camera, and the audio signal input to the BRBK-MF1 Optical
Multiplex Card to a distant place using the Optical Fiber Cable
• To output the audio signal transmitted via the Optical Fiber Cable as an audio signal conforming to HDV standards
from the HFBK-TS1 through the AUDIO OUT jacks on the BRU-H700 if you insert the HFBK-TS1 HDV Interface
Board into the BRU-H700
• To input the video signal of the camera and the audio signal via the HFBK-TS1 HDV Interface Board simultaneously
to the HDV video equipment

Notes
• The video signal delay in this system is caused by signal processing in the HFBK-TS1 HDV Interface Board. If you
are uncomfortable with the delay, output the video signal via the RGB/COMPONENT connector on the BRU-H700.
• You cannot operate pan/tilt and zoom with HDV video equipment connected to the i.LINK (HDV) OUT connector
on the HFBK-TS1 HDV Interface Board. Use the VISCA RS-232C or VISCA RS-422 connectors instead.
• Use AUDIO DELAY in the HDV menu of the camera to compensate for the delay between the video signal of the
camera and the audio signal input to the HFBK-TS1 HDV Interface Board (see page 41). The delay is adjustable by
STEP (approx. 24 mS).
