A. Cable Connection/ 连接线缆
Connect the ground cable to ground the device, and then connect the power cable. If crimp terminals are not

used, the wire thickness cannot exceed 1.5 mm², and the length cannot exceed 25 m. If crimp terminals are
used, the wire can be up to 0.75 mm² for a 15 m length of wiring, or up to 1.0 mm² if 20 m is required. Longer
wiring is not supported. The ground impedance cannot exceed 5 ohms.
连接接地线和电源线。接裸线最大支持 1.5mm²（长度最大支持 25m）电源线，配压线端子支持 0.75mm²（长度最大支
持 15m）或 1.0mm²（长度最大支持 20m）电源线。接地线要求阻抗≤ 5Ω。

Connect the network cable. Before assembling the RJ11 connector, mount the rubber O-ring for the

waterproof connector onto the network cable port and install the remaining components of the waterproof
connector in the sequence shown below. The waterproof connectors of the network cable must be secured
tightly or they may come loose later.
连接网线。制作水晶头前，请先将网线防水接头的水晶头侧部件按如图所示顺序组装。网线防水接头部件中的细橡皮圈
套在网线接口外，再将剩余部件按如图所示顺序安装。网线防水接头务必拧紧到位，否则会有脱落风险。

Connect the alarm cable and RS485 cable. It is

recommended that twisted pair cables be used as
alarm cables. The diameter of the cable core ranges
from 22 AWG to 28 AWG. The impedance of the
entire cable is less than or equal to 100 ohms.
连接告警线缆、RS485 线缆。告警线缆建议使用双绞
线，线芯的线径为 22AWG ～ 28AWG，整条线路的阻抗
≤ 100Ω。

B. Waterproofing and Insulation/ 防水绝缘处理
Insulate and waterproof the connection in three stages. Use one layer of insulation tape, followed by three
layers of waterproofing tape, followed by three layers of insulation tape.
防水绝缘处理。采用缠绕一层绝缘胶带，再缠绕三层防水胶带，最后缠绕三层绝缘胶带的方式。
NOTE/ 说明
The waterproof tape must cover the cable bundle from the insulation sheath all the way to the cable conduit (for
example, a PVC tube). The tape must be wrapped tightly and there must be no gaps in the coverage or water will
leak in. Loose cable ends must also be wrapped to prevent water seepage.
防水胶带务必从线缆束绝缘外皮开始缠绕至防护皮管（如 PVC 管），且尽量缠紧，且覆盖到位，以免漏水。对于不用的线头，
需要用防水胶带包住，防止渗水。

Use the insulation tape to protect the

waterproofing tape layers. Use the same method
as you did for the waterproofing tape (bottom
to top, top to bottom, and bottom to top again).
Use cable ties to secure both ends of the tape.

至上的处理方式缠绕三层。最后用扎线带绑扎上下两
端。

Apply three layers of waterproof tape, with the first

layer wrapped from bottom to top, the second layer
from top to bottom, and the third layer wrapped from
bottom to top again.

Cover the rest of the cabling in a conduit or with

protective waterproof rubber tape. Make a drip loop
as shown below to create an artificial lowest point of
the cable.
