Position the door/ window with frame into the aperture (from outside) and ensure that the diagonals are equal (A=B). The door/ window frames also need to be vertically aligned with base (90) before continuing.

Pre-drill parts before fixing screws. Step 17: Roof membrane Item: 17a - Roof Membrane We supply roof membrane which provides an extra layer of protection. Ensure the roof panels are dry and firmly secured before putting on the membrane. Cover all of the roof panels (including edges) using the roof membrane supplied leaving a minimum of 5 - 10mm overhang and then cut off the excess.

Assembly Steps for (Hexagonal Shingle) Plastic Waterproof Membrane Fully cover the roof with the plastic waterproof membrane leaving a minimum of 20mm overhang or 40mm overhang if the optional guttering is to be installed. Use a staple gun or tacks to secure the membrane to the roof boards. Hexagonal Shingles Our hexagonal shingles come with a 'peelable' plastic backing which must be removed before installing.

Assembly Steps for (Shingles) Plastic Waterproof Membrane: Fully cover the roof with the plastic waterproof membrane leaving a minimum of 20mm overhang or 40mm overhang if the optional guttering is to be installed. Use a staple gun or tacks to secure the membrane to the roof boards. Shingles Our rectangular shingles come with a thin clear strip on the back marked 'DO NOT REMOVE', do not peel this off.

Glazing Windows and Doors Sealed units are approximately 10mm smaller in length and width than the aperture. This difference in size will be packed using bridge packers (4mm), black shims (2mm), and green shims (1mm). Bridge packers must be used only against the frame, while shims are to be used only next to sealed units.

After packing the sealed units correctly, refit the beads in the same position as you removed them; start with the smallest lengths first before inserting the longer lengths. Carefully use a nylon or non-marking rubber mallet to help tap the beads into position, starting at the ends.
