In the USB Preferences menu, configure the type of USB connection.

File transfer: Transfer files between your device and external devices.

cable.

MIDI: Set USB to function as MIDI input for musical applications.

PTP: Set USB to use the Picture Transfer Protocol (PTP) to transfer media
files if Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) is not supported.

No data transfer: Disable data transfers.
