Operation of this device is subject to the following two conditions:
This device may not cause harmful interference.
This device must accept any interference received, including interference that
may cause undesired operation.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B dig-
ital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC rules. These limits are designed to provide
reasonable protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated
in commercial environments. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction
manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Operation of this
device in a residential area is likely to cause harmful interference. In such cases,
users are required to correct the interference at their own expense. Users are
advised that any equipment changes or modifications not expressly approved by the
party responsible for compliance will void FCC compliance and may, therefore, void
the user's authority to operate the equipment.
FCC Radiation Exposure Statement
This device complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled
environment. End users must follow the specific operating instructions to ensure RF
exposure compliance. This transmitter must not be located or operating in conjunc-
tion with any other antenna or transmitter. This portable device is designed to meet
the requirements for safe exposure to radio waves established by the Federal Com-
munications Commission (USA). These requirements set a SAR limit of 1.6 W/kg
averaged over one gram of tissue. Emissions are maintained within the band of oper-
ation under all conditions of normal operation as specified.
IC Warning Statement
This device complies with Industry Canada's license-exempt RSS standards. Opera-
tion of this device is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not
cause interference; and (2) This device must accept any interference, including inter-
ference that may cause undesired operation of the device.
This radio transmitter has been approved by Industry Canada to operate with the
antenna types listed below with the maximum permissible gain and required antenna
impedance are indicated. Antenna types not included in this list, or whose gain is
greater than the indicated maximum gain, are strictly prohibited for use with this
device: (i) the device for operation in the band 5150 ~ 5250 MHz is only for indoor
use to reduce the potential for harmful interference to co-channel mobile satellite sys-
tems. (For devices installed in vehicles, point i. is not relevant.) Users should also be
advised that high-power radars are allocated as primary users (i.e., priority users) of
the bands 5250~ 5350 MHz and 5650 ~ 5850 MHz and that these radars can cause
interference and/or damage to LE-LAN devices.
