6. CLEANING AND CARE

WARNING
■ Before cleaning, unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet.
■ The blades of the meat mincer, blender, grater, and slicer are sharp. Handle
the blades with care.
■ Never immerse the appliance, power cord or plug in water or any liquid. Never
rinse them under the tap.
IMPORTANT: Never use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents, wire brushes,
sharp objects or scouring pads to clean the appliance or accessories.
■ Clean the appliance and accessories after each use.
■ Remove the used accessories and attachments (mixer bowl, mixing accessories,
blender jar, mincer assembly, or grater/slicer assembly), disassemble and wash
them with warm soapy water and a soft sponge. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Do not
soak. Do not clean in the dishwasher.
■ Wipe the main unit (motor base) with a soft moist cloth. Dry thoroughly.
TIP: To quickly clean the blender jar, half fill the blender jar with warm water, add
■
a squeeze of dishwashing liquid, close the lid and blend for a few seconds on low
speed. Repeat using tap water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
■ Rub a thin layer of cooking oil on the blade accessories and mixing bowl to protect
them from rusting.
■ Store the appliance in the original packaging, or in a cool and dry place.
