2 GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS The generators have been designed for use in the industrial field, using highly reliable 1500 rpm water- cooled diesel engines. Particular attention has been paid to the degree of protection against external agents, engine protection and protection of the electrical parts against overload or overheating, adopting automatic systems able to stop the generator in the event of malfunctioning.

3.7 O UTDOOR INSTALLATION For units in outdoor installations, it is advisable to ensure a position that provides maximum protection against atmospheric agents, powder, etc. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight that would otherwise cause abnormal heating of the system. It is advisable to protect the system with shed roof. For temporary or short-term installations, the unit may simply be placed on a flat surface.

8 TRANSPORT, STORAGE, LIFTING AND, HANDLING AND PACKAGING 8.1 T RANSPORT AND STORAGE Packaging: Supplied directly by Mase Generators.
