• Make sure the the thumbwheel is tightened sufficiently so that the brake
tubes will not move accidentally.
• After setting the height, check that both brakes are even in height and that
the rollator is sitting even onto the ground.
• Make sure that the handgrips face towards the back of the rollator.
• Fix the brake cables into the integral brake cable "U" clip welded onto the
frame if not already assembled.
• Prior to use make sure the brakes are adjusted correctly and working properly.

OPERATING THE BRAKES

The handbrake on your Aidapt Rollator works very similar to a bicycle hand brake:
1.
To stop, gently apply a gripping pressure to both brakes simultaneously (Fig. 8),
this will slow down and stop your rollator.
2.
The brakes on your Aidapt Rollator have a park option (Fig. 9). To operate the park
option, push downwards on both brakes simultaneously. You will feel the brake
make a very slight click. Your brakes are now in the 'lock' position.
3.
To unlock, simply pull up the brake again, you will hear a slight click as the 'park'
disengages.
