I broke the hand brake off and need to reattach it. How do I do this?

To reattach and adjust the hand brake on the Aidapt VP173FC:
1. Ensure the brake handle is in position (refer to fig. 13). 2. Turn Nut B (fig. 12 & 13) anti-clockwise to tighten the brake cable. 3. If further tightening is needed, adjust as shown in fig. 14. 4. Test both normal and parking brake modes. 5. Press down on the brake handles to check if the brakes lock in park position. 6. With brakes off, lift and spin the braked wheels to confirm they turn freely. 7. If wheels rub, remove obstructions and repeat adjustment. 8. Check brake adjustments monthly or before a change of user.

OPERATING THE BRAKES The handbrake on your Aidapt Rollator works very similar to a bicycle hand brake: To stop, gently apply a gripping pressure to both brakes simultaneously, this will slow down and stop your Rollator (fig. 8). The brakes on your Rollator have a park option. To operate the park option, push downwards on both brakes simultaneously.
