With the current limit switch in the ON position, and the system supplying DC load current only,
typically for engine starting, the DC current can be limited. And external current limit dial
graduated in load current is provided and the desired maximum DC current that can be supplied
to the aircraft can be set at any current between 300 and 2000 amperes.

Chapter 6.
