OPERATING PROCEDURE
4. Remov ing th e th ermistor <2-ph ase Pipe Temp., Cond ./ev a.> (TH6)
(1) Remove the service panel. (See Figure 1)
(2) Remove the top panel. (See Figure 1)
(3) Disconnect the connector TH3/ TH6 (red) on the controller
circuit board in the electrical parts box .
(4) Loosen the clamp for the lead wire in the rear of the
electrical parts bo x .
(5) Pull out the thermistor <2-phase pipe, Cond./ eva.> (TH6)
from the sensor holder.
Note: Wh en replacing th ermistor <2-ph ase Pipe Temp.,
Cond ./ev a.> (TH6), replace it togeth er with th ermistor
<Liq uid Temp.> (TH3), since th ey are combined togeth er.
Refer to proced ure 5 below to remov e th ermistor <Liq uid
Temp.>.

5. Remov ing th e th ermistor <Liq uid Temp.> (TH3) and
th ermistor <Disch arge Temp.> (TH4)
(1) Remove the service panel. (See Figure 1)
(2) Disconnect the connectors, TH3 / TH6 (red) and TH4 (white),
on the controller circuit board in the electrical parts box .
(3) Loosen the clamp for the lead wire.
(4) Pull out the thermistor <Liq uid Temp.> (TH3) and
thermistor <Discharge Temp, Compressor Surface Temp.>
(TH4) from the sensor holder.
Note: W h en replacing t h ermistor <Li q ui d Temp.> (TH3),
replace it toget h er wit h t h ermistor <2-p h ase pipe, Con d ./
ev a.> (TH6), since th ey are combined togeth er.

5. Remov ing th e th ermistor < Compressor Surface Temp.> (TH4)
(1) Remove the service panel. (See Figure 1)
(2) Disconnect the connectors, TH3 / TH6 (red) and TH4 (white),
on the controller circuit board in the electrical parts box .
(3) Loosen the clamp for the lead wire.
(4) Pull out the thermistor < Compressor Surface Temp.> (TH4)
from the sensor holder.

replace it toget h er wit h t h ermistor <2-p h ase Pipe Temp.,
Cond ./ev a.> (TH6), since th ey are combined togeth er.
