Supply connections

The e-tron system trainer is supplied with a connection cable. The e-tron system trainer
must be connected to a 115/230 V 50/60 Hz AC household socket. The power socket has
to be easily accessible and must be close to the trainer. The mains supply has to be
protected by a residual current circuit breaker (RCD) with a tripping current of <= 30mA.
The connection cable should not be laid under carpets or similar. Ensure that the
connection cable does not pose a trip hazard.

Customer safety precautions

It must be ensured that the e-tron system trainer is only used by authorised persons. The
operating instructions and the site conditions also must be complied with. The e-tron
system trainer should only be supplied with voltage when it is used for voltage
measurements. For resistance measurements or measurements with switched fault 24,
the earthing contact plug must be pulled out of the socket. When the system trainer is not
in use, disconnect it from the mains by pulling the earthing contact plug out of the socket.
