Equipment

A fault switch box (see 12) for simulating 24 individual possible insulation faults in all
HV components and lines
The system requires a mains connection of 115/230 volts AC at 50/60 Hz.
The charging socket is intended for testing purposes only (charging via this socket is
not possible)
The high-voltage battery contains a power supply unit that supplies the HV system
with 70 VDC nominal voltage
Two loads (PTC heater and air-conditioning compressor) are used for fault simulation
only
The e-machine is also simulated by open ends with measurement possibilities
Energizing the system using the ignition key is possible
The system is deenergized via the Service Disconnect
The system is made of aluminium profiles with four swivel castors with locking brakes
Dimension: Length 120 cm, width 90 cm, height 140 cm
Weight: approx. 90 kg
The system trainer is built according to the latest state of vehicle technology
These are components from the current e-tron programme of AUDI AG
