Ice maker cleaning

WARNING
Rinse the ice tray and water channel.
Before operating performing "Ice Maker Cleaning", confirm the following.
Water Supply Tank
・There is water up to the container full line.
・It is set correctly past the container
set position.
Ice case
・If there is any ice in the ice case,
remove it.

Close all the doors.

Touch
to turn on the display.
All indicator lamps turn on, and then the current settings are displayed.

Touch and hold
The three indicators "Quick", "On", and "Off" blink at the same time, and "Ice Maker Cleaning" starts. (About 4 minutes)
・The lamp blinks for about 4 minutes and the alarm continues to sound.
・You cannot cancel "Ice maker cleaning" partway through.
・If you open one of the refrigerator doors during "Ice maker cleaning", it may not work properly.
Do not open or close any of the doors until "Ice maker cleaning" is finished.
・The alarm will sound even if the door alarm is set to "Off".

When the alarm stops, lay a clean towel on the bottom of the Ice Case to block the cutout
at the rear.
Place a water-absorbing towel on the bottom of the Ice Case to prevent water that has
collected during the ice maker cleaning process from spilling out of the cutout.

Remove the Ice Case, wipe off the water inside, and then set it in the Ice Compartment.
Remove the towel you used to wipe off water.
The water remaining in the Water Supply Tank can be used directly for ice making.
After "Ice Maker Cleaning" is complete, the refrigerator is set to "Ice Making" mode.
When using the automatic ice maker for the first time When it has not been used for a week or longer
Do not touch the mechanical part of the automatic ice maker.
(Doing so may cause injury.)
for 5 seconds or longer until the alarm sounds.
