Door alarm

If you open one of the doors for 1 minute or more, a sound and light will inform you that the door is open.
The door alarm function works with the Refrigerator Compartment, Ice Compartment and Lower Freezer Compartment. (It does not work with the Upper Freezer Compartment or the Vegetable Compartment)

● When "Energy Saving" mode is set, the door alarm will sound after the door is opened for 30 seconds. However, the display blinks after 1 minute.
● When the display is blinking, the Operation Section will not respond to touches. Close the door before operating the Control Panel.

Volume adjustment of door alarm and operation sound

You can make the door alarm and operation sounds louder, or you can set them to not sound.

Touch to turn on the display.
All indicator lamps turn on, and then the current settings are displayed.

Touch and hold
The operation sound volume can be switched to "Standard", "Loud", or "Off".
Repeatedly change the setting to choose the volume level you prefer
(see table below). The default setting is "Standard".

Triple power deodorizing effect
Deodorizes various odors in the refrigerator including the four major odors of sulfur, nitrogen, aldehyde, and acid,
by combining three types of deodorizing materials. In addition, it suppresses the activity of bacteria collected in the filter.
The deodorizing filter has a sterilizing effect.

Notice
It is not possible to adjust the door alarm and
the operation sound to different volume levels.
If you set the volume level to "Off", the display
will not blink during a door alarm.
Even if the volume is set to "Off", the "Ice
Maker Cleaning" alarm will sound.
The setting returns to "Standard" after the
power plug is disconnected and reconnected,
or after operation restarts following a power
outage.
