Replacement procedure
1. Remove the computer cover. See "Computer cover" on page 58.
2. Remove the system board shield. See "System board shield" on page 59.
3. Remove the M.2 solid-state drive. See "M.2 solid-state drive and thermal pad" on page 60.
4. Remove the heat sink. See "Remove the Heat sink" on page 61.
5. Remove the Wi-Fi card. See "Wi-Fi card and bracket" on page 64.
6. Remove the discrete graphic card. See "Discrete graphic card (for selected models)" on page 66.
7. Remove the wireless projector. See "Wireless projector board and bracket" on page 67.
8. Remove the coin-cell battery. See "Coin-cell battery" on page 69.
9. Disconnect all cables connected to the system board. Remove nine screws and then remove the system
board.
10. Reinstall the system board.
11. Reinstall all the removed parts, and then reconnect the cables.

Side I/O bracket

Prerequisite
Before you start, read Chapter 1 "Important safety information" on page 1 and print the following
instructions.
Before you open the computer cover, turn off the computer and wait several minutes until the computer is
cool.
Replacement procedure
1. Remove the system board. See "System board" on page 70.
2. Remove five screws. Then, remove the side I/O bracket.
