4. Reinstall the fans.
5. Reinstall all the removed parts, and then reconnect the cables.

Prerequisite
Before you start, read Chapter 1 "Important safety information" on page 1 and print the following
instructions.
Before you open the computer cover, turn off the computer and wait several minutes until the computer is
cool.
Replacement procedure
1. Remove the computer cover. See "Computer cover" on page 58.
2. Remove the system board shield. See "System board shield" on page 59.
3. Remove the heat sink. See "Remove the Heat sink" on page 61.
4. Remove five screws and then remove the discrete graphic card.
