Question: Why can't I change the display with Fn+F5 keys?
•
When playing the animation or game, Fn+F5 key combination may not work.
Close the currently running application.
•
When running DOS in the full screen mode, Fn+F5 key combination may not
work.
•
Use Display Properties dialog box to change it.
•
When Multimonitor is selected in the Driver mode, Fn+F5 key combination does
not work.
•
If you connect the television set, Fn+F5 key combination does not work. Use
Display Properties dialog box to change it.
Question: Why does the television set display nothing or the image on it
distorted?
•
Confirm the television set is turned on.
•
Confirm the television set is connected correctly.
•
Make sure TV is selected as the output display by using Display Properties dialog
box. (Refer to Displaying Video on Your TV Set section in Chapter 2.)
•
If an external monitor is connected to the computer, disconnect it.
•
Confirm TV type (NTSC or PAL) of TV SYSTEM in Advanced menu of Setup
Utility is set to the appropriate type. To change the type, follow the steps below:
1.
Open the Setup Utility.
2.
In Advanced menu, click TV SYSTEM.
3.
Select NTSC or PAL in TV System Select field.
4.
Click OK.
5.
In Exit menu, click Exit Saving Changes, then, OK.
Question: How can I set the external monitor or the TV set selectable in
Display Properties dialog box?
•
Confirm the external monitor or the television set is turned on.
•
Confirm the external monitor or the television set is connected correctly.
•
Open Driver mode Setting dialog box (refer to Chapter 2 or Chapter 4) and uncheck
Auto of Driver Mode. Be sure to check Auto again before you turn off the
computer.
