If the temperature protector is activated
If the projector's internal temperature rises abnormally, the light module turns off and the temperature indicator flashes
(repeatedly two flashes per cycle).
It may happen that the projector's temperature protector is simultaneously activated and the projector's power turns off.
If this happens, do the following:
- Unplug the power cord from the power outlet.
- If using in a place where the surrounding temperature is high, move the projector to a different, cool place.
- If there is dust in the ventilation slits, clean. (→ page 160)

Wait as such about 1 hour for the projector's internal temperature to lower.

High surrounding tempera-
ture (Forced ECO Mode)
Wait for over 1 minute and try to power ON the projector again.
If the problem still persists, contact the NEC projector customer
support center.
The temperature protector has been activated. If the room
temperature is high, move the projector to a cool place. If the
problem still persists, contact the NEC projector customer sup-
port center.
The surrounding temperature is high. Lower the room tempera-
ture.
