Read these mounting instructions
carefully before using the ALD for
the first time. Follow the
instructions. Keep these
instructions safe for use later on.
2.1 Installation staff
Mounting is only permitted when carried out
by trained specialists.
Installation staff are trained in electrical
engineering and are aware of the risks and
consequences of an electric shock.

3.2 Product description
ALD 10
Outside wall air opening for nominal size
100 mm. With external grille, wall sleeve and
square internal cover. Supply air element for
draught-free, decentralised domestic
ventilation with continuous regulation of the
air flow. Air volume can be adjusted
continuously using slider (iris closure):
● Slider to the left = CLOSED
● Slider to the right = OPEN
ALD 10 T
Outside wall air opening for nominal size
100 mm, depending on the temperature
automatically self opening and closing.
With external grille, wall sleeve and thermo-
valve. For draught-free, decentralised
domestic ventilation with an integrated
thermostat. Supply air element opens or
closes automatically. Controls in the
temperature range – 5 °C (closed) to + 10 °C
(open). Air volume can be adjusted by turning
the cover of the thermovalve. No electrical
connection required.
Option: Storm protection ALDS 10
(not included in the scope of delivery, for acces-
sories  current catalogue or  the Internet):
A storm protection regulates the air flow during
strong or gusty winds and fully closes the air
channel during a storm. The occurrence of
draughts is prevented. For free-standing
buildings, installation is recommended on the
weather-exposed side from the 3rd floor up.
