Part names and functions of the remote
control

Before use
When you use the air conditioner for the first time or change the settings, follow the procedures below. From the
next time, just push [ ON/OFF] to start operating according to the settings.
Preparation
Turn on the power breaker
When the power is turned on, " " appears on the remote control display.
* The remote control will not work for about 3 minute after turning on the power. This is not a malfunction.
REQUIREMENT
• Keep the power breaker turned on during use.
• When you resume using the air conditioner after a long period of disuse, turn on the power breaker at least
12 hours before starting operation.

Main screen
This screen is for confirming or changing settings that are used every day, such as temperature, operating mode,
fan speed and wind direction.
You can check the current state according to the setting items on the bottom of the screen.
You can switch the setting items by pushing [

• The temperature setting is changed in the main screen.
• Functions and items that cannot be set are not shown, according to the model.
• While changing settings, if you push [
main screen returns.
Switching between the detailed display and simple display (Main screen only)
You can change the main screen to the simple display, depending on the "Display mode" setting. For details on
changing "Display mode", refer to "Display setting" in "Initial setting" in the Installation Manual of wired remote
control.
The detailed display is set as the factory default setting.
