Configuration overview

Provisioning

Setting > Provisioning > FortiVoice Server allows the phone to obtain a configuration file from the FortiVoice provisioning
server.
To provision the phone
1. Go to Setting > Provisioning.
2. In FortiVoice Server, enter the FortiVoice IP address or FQDN.
3. Enter the Server Port. If your extension is registered with FortiVoice Cloud, leave this field blank.
4. Press the OK soft key.
5. Reboot the phone:
a. Go to Tool > Reboot.
b. To confirm, press the OK soft key.
To select the SIP transport
Setting > Provisioning > SIP Account > SIP Transport allows you to select the SIP transport:
UDP - User Datagram Protocol

TCP - Transmission Control Protocol
l

To provision the phone, the phone requires that you enter the administrator password. The
default password is 23646. The FortiVoice administrator can change this password on the
phone system in Phone System > Profile > Phone.
To edit Feature settings, the phone requires that you enter the voicemail PIN for your
extension.
Description
Enables automatic forwarding of calls to the configured destination number.
If you enable this option, users can use the pound key (#) to initiate dialing. For
example, when the user presses 19001#, the phone calls extension 19001.
If you disable this option, users can use the pound key (#) as a phone number
prefix such as #19002.
Enables or disables Do Not Disturb.
Enables or disables Call Waiting.
