Quicksilver® 605BR — System & Component Overview and Operation

18. Canvas (optional)

A bimini with frame and vinyl panels that fully encloses the cockpit can be installed on your boat.
Bimini
When not in use, the bimini stores under the canvas storage hatch where it does not interfere with
the use of the boat. To use the bimini, loosen the knobs on the upper track where the forward frame
attaches to the deck, slide and rotate the frame forward to remove it from the canvas storage hatch.
Next, place the short rails onto the base, secure the straps to the aft corners of the deck trail, and
tighten the knobs on the upper track. Now remove the rear frame from the canvas storage by loosing
the knobs on the lower track where the frame attaches to the deck. Next, rotate the frame forward to
remove it from the canvas storage hatch, then slide the frame as far aft as possible. Connect the
biminis together using the zipper on the front edge of the canvas and tighten the knobs on the frame.
Secure the bimini straps to the aft corner of the deck trail. DO NOT OPERATE YOUR BOAT WITHOUT
THE BIMINI STRAPS ATTACHED TO THE DECK.
Bimini with Full Enclosure
In addition, clear vinyl panels can be installed to enclose the cockpit. Each panel attaches to the bimini
with a zipper and snaps or studs are used to attach to the deck.
