Safety notes
The TravelPilot has been designed for use in passenger cars.
Special information required for the navigation of lorries or buses, such as height restrictions or maximum permitted
load, is not included on the navigation CDs.
Inserting a CD into the CD drive
•
For reasons of safety, loading or changing CDs should only be carried out when the vehicle is stationary.
•
Only open the control panel to load a CD.
•
Close the control panel as soon as you have loaded a CD so that the unit is ready for operation before you com-
mence your journey.
Operating whilst driving
You could cause a serious accident if you do not pay attention to the traffic conditions.
In order not to be distracted by the TravelPilot, please take note of the following points:
•
Familiarise yourself with the TravelPilot and its controls before commencing your journey.
•
Stop the car in a suitable location if you wish to reprogram the TravelPilot.
•
Do not operate the TravelPilot whilst driving unless the traffic conditions allow you to do so.
•
Only enter a destination whilst the vehicle is stationary.
