Installation This Data Security Bay-64 only supports one secured hard disk drive. Do not connect two hard disk drives to this controller. The hard disk drive connected to this controller is only available if the Security Key is inserted during boot process. You can remove this key after Windows has completed booting and still have complete access to information on this drive. - Page 5 2. Connect one end of the provided IDE cable to the IDE Controller Connector (see below) on the Bay-64. 3. With a separate IDE cable (not provided), connect one end of the cable to the Hard Disk Drive Connector (see below) on the Bay-64.
- Page 6 Figure 6. Mounting the Bay-64 9. Replace the computer cover and attach the power cord. 10. Insert your Security Key into the Security Key Slot and power up your system. 11. Follow the regular procedures to partition and format the hard disk drive.
