Weight planning

All procedures apply to the MFD and the Control Unit unless otherwise stated.
entering Weight parameters
The Weight Planning Page is displayed after system power-up. If it is necessary to
return to this page, turn the large FMS Knob to select the 'AUX' page group. Turn the
small FMS Knob to select the Weight Planning Pge.
1) Select the EMPTY WT Softkey to place the cursor in the Basic Empty
Weight field.
2) Enter the desired aircraft empty weight.
3) Press the ENT Key. The cursor is now over the 'PILOT & STORES' field.
4) Enter the desired weight of Pilot & Stores.
5) Press the ENT Key.
6) Continue repeating these steps until all desired weights have been entered.
entering Fuel parameters
1) Press the FMS Knob to activate the cursor.
2) Turn the large FMS Knob to place the cursor in the 'FUEL ON BOARD' field.
3) Turn the small FMS Knob to enter the desired fuel quantity.
4) Press the ENT Key. The cursor is now in the 'FUEL RESERVES' field.
5) Turn the small FMS Knob to enter the desired reserve fuel quantity.
6) Press the FMS Knob to remove the cursor.
7) Press the ENT Key.

trip planning

1) Turn the large FMS Knob on the Control Unit to select the 'AUX' page
group.
2) Turn the small FMS Knob to select the Trip Planning Page.
3) The current 'PAGE MODE' is displayed at the top of the page: 'AUTOMATIC'
or 'MANUAL'. To change the page mode, select the AUTO or MANUAL
Softkey.
