Operation
4 Lid cover (RDK1045 and RDK1355)
1. Lift the sink shelf cover (RDK1355 only).
2. Lift the lid cover.
3. Lift the sides from the circular cuts in each side and
rotate the sides out until they are able to drop down
into the pads on the hob box.
4. On both sides, slide the sides out until the tab in each
bottom edge drops into the slot in the pads.
5. To lock the lid in place, rotate the latch on the left-
hand side clockwise and pull the right-hand side in.

6 .2 Closing the cooktop cover

1. Rotate the latch on the left-hand side
counterclockwise.
2. Push the right-hand side out.
3. From the circular cuts in each side, lift both sides until
the sides clear the slots in the pads and the bottom of
the lid.
4. Rotate the sides inward. The bottom edge of the
sides can rest on the bottom edge of the lid.
5. Swing the sides toward the lid until the sides drop
into place behind the fold at the bottom of the lid.
6. Close the lid.
7. Close the sink shelf cover (RDK1355 only).

1. Open the cooktop cover.
2. Turn the LP gas shut-off valve counterclockwise to the
open position.

Control knob

1. Turn the control knob(s) counterclockwise to the On
position to start the flow of LP gas to the cooktop.
2. Immediately press and hold the electronic ignition
button until the burner ignites.
