Disposal

1. Ensure the control knobs are in the Off position, the
LP gas shutoff valve is closed, and the cooktop is
disconnected from the LP gas source.
2. Turning counterclockwise, unscrew the ignition
switch cover and set aside.
3. Remove and replace the AAA battery.
4. Dispose of the old battery properly.
5. Reinstall the ignition switch cover.

1. Remove the grill from the cooktop.
2. Dry all the surfaces and the hob box.
3. Spray the surfaces with vegetable oil or a similar
product to help prevent the surface from rusting
during storage.

Before reinstalling and operating the cooktop,
clean the oil off of the surface of the cooktop.

LP gas-certified hose

2. Disconnect the LP gas certified hose from the
cooktop and from the LP gas source.
3. Remove the screws securing the cooktop to the
hob box.
4. Lift the cooktop out of the hob box.
5. Pack the cooktop in its original packaging or other
suitable materials to protect it from damage.

Disposal
Place the packaging material in the appropriate

recycling waste bins, whenever possible.
Consult a local recycling center or specialist
dealer for details about how to dispose of
the product in accordance with all applicable
national and local regulations.
