To protect the catalytic converter in your
vehicle's exhaust system, avoid extending
idling and the use of leaded petrol.
Your vehicle's exhaust contains poisonous
carbon monoxide gas. High
carbon monoxide can collect rapidly in
enclosed areas such as a garage. Do not
run the engine with the garage door closed.
Even with the door open, run the engine
only long enough to move your vehicle out
of the garage.
Do not operate the kickstarter pedal while
the engine is running as engine damage
could result. Do not apply excessive force
on the kickstarter pedal.
Fold up the kickstarter pedal after the
kickstarter is returned to the pedal stop.
Do not use the electric starter for more
than 5 second at a time. Release the starter
button for approximately 10 seconds before
pressing it again.
