Chapter 1: Operation

EMC conformance

All Raymarine equipment and accessories are designed to the best
industry standards for use in the leisure marine environment.
Their design and manufacture conforms to the appropriate
Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) standards, but correct
installation is required to ensure that performance is not compromised.

1.2 Basic operation

The following illustration shows the functions assigned to each key or
key sequence.
Key functions for normal operation

Remote indicators

When the
associated instrument group is selected in turn, on successive key
presses. As each instrument is selected, it displays a remote indication,
during which time you can control it from the Remote Keypad. The
manner in which the remote indication is displayed depends on the type
of instrument:
