Hill Start Control brake failure

It is essential to apply the
brakes manually to hold the

vehicle.
NOTICE
Hill Start Control is purely a com-
fort system to facilitate holding
the machine and pulling way
on uphill gradients and should
not be confused with a parking
z
brake.
Operate the parking brake
lever 1 with force and release it
again quickly.
The holding symbol is dis-
played.
Hill Start Control has been ac-
tivated.
To switch off Hill Start Con-
trol, operate the parking brake
lever 1 again.
The holding symbol disap-
pears.
Or drive off in first or second
gear.
NOTICE
Hill Start Control is deactivated
automatically when the motor-
cycle pulls away.
General warning light
flashes yellow.
The holding symbol flashes
briefly.
Once the brake has been
fully released, the holding
symbol disappears.
Hill Start Control has been
switched off.
