For use with all Fortrex, Maxxum, Edge, PowerDrive, Terrova,
Riptide SF, Riptide SM, Riptide SE, Riptide ST and Riptide SP Trolling Motors

Installation Instructions:

For PowerDrive, Terrova, Riptide SP or Riptide ST:

1. Remove the side covers (marked [A] in the illustration).
2. Fasten the Top Plate to the bottom of the motor using (4) of the 1/4" x
1/2" Screws. You will not use the forward most mounting holes from the
base of your motor (indicated with X in the illustration to the right.)
Note: There are two sets of four pre-drilled and tapped holes that can
be used to mount your motor. In the bottom-right illustration, one set is
marked c, the other is marked m.
3. Re-install both side covers.

For Fortrex or Riptide SF:

1. Fasten the trolling motor mount to the Top Plate using (6) of the 1/4" x 1/2" Screws.
The mounting holes in the trolling motor mount are accessible as long as the motor
is in the stowed position. There is no disassembly of your motor mount necessary to
complete this installation. Installed correctly the screws will be inserted into the drilled
and tapped holes marked with r.

For Maxxum or Riptide SM:

1. Fasten the trolling motor mount to the Top Plate using (6) of the 1/4" x 2" Screws. The mounting holes in the trolling motor mount are accessible as
long as the motor is in the stowed position. There is no disassembly of your motor mount necessary to complete this installation. Installed correctly the
screws will be inserted into the drilled and tapped holes marked with r.

For Edge, or Riptide SE:

1. Remove the motor rest from the Edge or Riptide SE bowmount.
2. Fasten the trolling motor mount to the Top Plate using (6) of the 1/4" x 1/2" Screws. The holes in the trolling motor mount used for this installation are
off center and 3 holes are centrally located; the other 3 holes are along the right side of the mount. Installed correctly the screws will be inserted into
the drilled and tapped holes marked with r.
3. Re-install the motor rest.
